    Vehicle Details
49 State Car! Catalytic Converters isn’t California spec and I’m not spending 1,000 to replace a working part, so now you have the opportunity to buy this modest ripper.
I purchased this Miata in 2017 in Texas with like 70k miles on it. I replaced the top after purchasing it, although the adhesive connecting the window to the canvas has failed. I did a mild audio modification to it since the stock head unit only had a CD player and also the stock system didnt have enough juice to overpower the wind noise at 80mph with the top down; I replaced the door speakers with slightly more powerful units and installed an amplifier in the trunk which receives sound through an aux cord that’s ran from the trunk to the handbrake lever’s sleeve, the stock head unit was retained and functions as normal except only delivers sound to the tweeters. My radiator failed around 90k miles and I replaced it with an aluminum one. At this time the timing belt, water pump, and thermostat were replaced along with tubing. Clutch slave and master cylinder replaced at about 95k. All brake pads and front rotors replaced at 100k. I believe the clutch throw out bearing is going bad, but functionality of the clutch doesn’t seem to be affected at all. Original suspension. OEM air intake and a K&N Typhoon. Tires have life. Top requires some strength to latch if it’s been down for some time. Never seen the snow.
