    Description

    1990 Mazda MX-5 Miata.
Reminder that you have to come to me to get the car. We can even take it for a spin!
This car sounds great! it was a joy to own, a joy to work on and a joy to drive. Sadly I'm running out of room in the driveway and its time for something more modern.
Like with any used car there is the good, the bad and the Ugly. So lets start with ugly.
There is some cosmetic damage to the car that I had slowly been fixing one at a time. So there are only a hand full left.
In the pictures above you can see the broken side mirror. (When I first bought the car last year it didn't even have both mirrors on the car.)
Secondly, the hood on the right side is bent up half an inch. This bugs the crap out of me but I didn't want to damage the hood bending it back so I left it.
The rear left fender had a rust hole in it from the previous owner. (photo above) So I had fixed it, patched it and forgot about it. The paint on the car is so nice that i was afraid of painting a fender the wrong color.
The trunk had bad clear coat issues so I put a peel-able coating of black over it. IMO it looks better. But if you want to fix it you just have to peel the black away. I was put on thick so it will come off easily.
And the most obvious ugly is the seats. They look great for a 30 y/o convertible, but sadly the top must have started leaking at one point. I fixed the leaking but the stains remain. I think they still look good all things considered.
Now on to the "Bad". The A/C evap. system leaked into the vents. The A/C work pretty good but the Freon leaks through the vents into the cabin. This Started only a week ago and is one of the reasons I'm getting rid of it. Also, when i got the car the glove box was broken. I fixed it, but then it broke again. Go figure. Also she needs some new shoes. The wheels on the car are nasty and old. She could use some nice new ones. The falken Sincera sn250's  still have 40k or 50k more miles before they get low on tread so you wont have to worry about that.
Now the good, this engine is very healthy. It has high compression on all cylinders and red-lines no problem. Besides having a great set of Falken tires on the car she has had a lot of love put into her by yours truly. I will list the work/ part added to the car in the year of ownership. But on a side note. For the majority of my ownership of the car i worked at the Mazda dealership in Mlebourne and the car was serviced by the best. I also have ALL of the maintenance paperwork from me and the previous owner.
Now the Additions from major ---> minor:
Torsen Limited slip Differential + Drive shaft, and both rear axle out of an NB Miata. (yes it slides)
Power Pulse headers by Racing Beat + full stainless steel cat-back exhaust system (with silencer)
Street Basis-z coil overs by Tein
Cold air intake system by Jackson Racing + thermostat spacer
Brand new (<50 miles) MAFS sensor
    New O2 sensor
Hard Dog Harness bar (was planning on getting new seats)
    Stage 2 clutch (previous owner)
    Front lip from Ebay
    Smoked front turn Signals
Rebuilt shifter and shift knob (rebuilt twice for perfection)
New USABLE center console with USABLE cup holders (best mod)
    LED interior lights
    Aftermarket radio
TONS of cleaning. I prob spent 2x more time cleaning that wrenching. no joke.
Its a short list but I am a college student so its not like I am rolling in money. If you have any questions message me and I will do my best to answer your questions and respond. The previous owner replaces the odometer so the odometer doesn't match the miles on the engine.
